High Precision Siemens 7MF4233 Series Intelligent Pressure Transmitter
The Siemens 7MF4233 series belongs to the SITRANS P DS III series differential pressure/pressure transmitters, which use intelligent sensor technology and are suitable for pressure, differential pressure, flow, and liquid level measurement in industrial process control. This series is renowned for its high precision (typical precision 0.075%) and modular design, supporting 4-20mA analog signal output and multiple digital communication protocols.
Working Principle
1. Pressure Sensing and Conversion
- The measured pressure acts on the sensor diaphragm (made of monocrystalline silicon material), causing slight deformation of the diaphragm
- This deformation results in changes in the resistance value of the internal Wheatstone bridge
- The weak voltage signal output by the bridge is processed by a high-precision amplification circuit and converted into an electrical signal proportional to the pressure (such as 4-20mA or digital signal)
2. Signal Processing and Output
- Built-in microprocessor linearizes, temperature compensates, and self-diagnoses signals to ensure output accuracy (0.075%)
- Supports HART, PROFIBUS-PA, or FF fieldbus protocols for remote communication and parameter configuration
3. Typical Application Scenarios
- Differential pressure measurement: Detecting fluid pressure difference (such as flow rate and liquid level) through double-sided pressure pipes
- Absolute pressure measurement: Reference measurement of absolute pressure in a vacuum chamber (such as a vacuum system)
